When it comes to Chinese and Japanese incenses, the agarwood + sandalwood combo is a match made in heaven. But if you've tried blending sandalwood and oud oils together, you already know that the result is usually an unpleasant medley of jarring scent notes.
Not so with Jinkoh To Byakudan.

They say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
And so the very same formula as the previous versions was used.

The first few iterations of JtB were great, but we've come a long way since then.
This iteration contains groundbreaking ULTRA royal grade Myanma and royal grade Laotian oud oils.
Loaded with true-to-the-wood oud oils from these two countries, coupled with a massively opulent aged Mysore sandalwood oil, the result is truer to the incense experience than ever before.

The opening of Jinkoh To Byakudan displays a brilliant ethereal oudiness. The oud oils were fused together meticulously to try to achieve the "scent neutral" quality of Kyara. The bright and clean precious Kyara-like halo hums over a deeper woodier resinous oud, and impressively shines all the way to the drydown. The sandalwood is not far behind. The Mysore sandalwood oil purrs alongside the oud adding a creaminess to the otherwise-rugged woodiness of the ouds.

If you are a fan of the Monkoh style of heating agarwood or granulated incense, you will be delighted to find that the delicate vanillic-sweetness of agarwood that this style of heating preserves is present in this oil as well - an aspect of agarwood that is absent when using other heating methods.

Many of our earlier Japanese-inspired attars contained various traditional spices and herbs used in the Japanese tradition, and those ingredients defined the characters of the oils.
Jinkoh To Byakudan, on the other hand, focuses on oud and sandalwood almost exclusively. The spices used in this blend work subtly in the background, and are only there to exalt the oud and sandalwood.

The end result: an ultra refined attar that wonderfully mimics high end Japanese Agarwood-Sandalwood incenses.
You have to try it to believe it.

Jinkoh in Byakudan is delicious, superb blend, everything is bright golden sparkling gold, the heart is a floral fruity balance, with a superb golden amber notes.

Sometimes burning incense makes me cough, and I have trouble getting beyond the heavy smoke in order to focus on the ingredients. Those things discourage me from burning as often as I’d like, so this oil is real pleasure for me, Taha. It’s not a substitute for the incense, but it’s amazing how close you’ve come to capturing the essence of some of my favorite sticks. Have you thought about sending it to some of the incense shops? I really think it would be a big hit!

This is a great Mukhallat. I mean,I'm blown away by this. This is the type,my favorite type i love. Please tell me you kept this recipe also... Because in the future when i run out,I'm definitely gonna want another bottle of this liquid Platinum. To be honest this IS the best frag you have made 2nd & 3rd i would say Layali,Al Arabiya(2) never tried the 1st.
